Letter from HKEAA regarding the cancellation of April and May 2020 ABRSM practical examinations.
Dear Applicant,
ABRSM and the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority announced that the ABRSM Practical Examinations scheduled for April/May 2020 will be cancelled due to the latest situation surrounding the COVID-19. Please be informed that the examination fee will be refunded in June. A cheque will be posted to the applicant who submitted the entry form by post/in person. For applicants who applied on-line, the fee will be credited to the credit card used in entering for the examination.
If you wish to enter for the Practical Examinations in August to early/mid-November 2020, please submit your entry again according to the registration schedule. The postal registration will be extended to 21 March 2020. The period for registration in-person is from 23 March 2020 to 27 March 2020. The on-line registration period has started and will end at 5:30pm on 8 April 2020. Please see the HKEAA’s website for details (www.hkeaa.edu.hk/abrsme).
